Sharing and celebrating the variety of cultures we have in our Crossdale family
Today, we had a very exciting assembly all about Chinese New Year! A parent in our Crossdale family came to school today to share with us lots of information about the celebration of Chinese new Year, and the children even got involved in a few activities too!
We found out where China was on a map, we saw some items which are commonly used for Chinese New Year celebrations, we practised some martial arts, and we even took part in a dragon parade! All the children got stuck in, and made us proud by practising their British Value of showing mutual respect for other cultures.
