Following a review this week, we have updated the start and finish times for Year 5.
Following a review this week, we have updated the start and finish times for Year 5.
After a very rigorous selection process, we are pleased to confirm that we have recruited two class teachers to replace Mr McKenna and Miss Jackson from September:
With over 60 applicants, Miss Spencer and Mr Dring were put through the ringer to earn their positions!
We will update you in the near future with details of which classes all the teachers will be leading from September.
Dear parents and carers,
We have two staffing updates for you:
The recruitment process to replace Miss Jackson and Mr McKenna should be concluded next week as we plan for life without them. We will update parents with information about the new members of the team in the coming weeks.
Kind regards,
Mr Cresswell

When coming onto the school site, please also ensure you wear a face covering and that only one parent or carer comes onto the school site to accompany their children.
Although we all hope that we are moving back to some sense of normality and that schools will not have to close again as part of a national lockdown, we still have the potential for bubbles to be closed if we see positive cases of covid-19 amongst pupils and staff. If all parents follow the guidance above, the chances of a bubble closure at Crossdale will be greatly reduced. Many thanks for your ongoing support with our covid-19 measures.
Parents should not see any significant changes from the 8th March when compared to the autumn term – routines and expectations will be almost identical. However, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We will send further information next week.
We are greatly looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to their school – it’s where they belong!
The attached document outlines some simple activities you can do to help prepare your child for returning to school, so they are ready and happy to face the first day back after lockdown.

Dear Parents,
At a time when most children are using the Internet more than they would normally, I would urge you all to take time tor review the information below. There is quite a lot of information, but it is all useful and I believe every parent needs to understand the issues raised. We are aware that some of our pupils have had very negative experiences using the Internet at home in recent years - reading and using the information attached will hopefully minimise the chances of this happening in the future.
All children will have stories or activities on SeeSaw this week to help them think about safe internet use.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help in any way.
