On Friday 18th November we will be raising money for the charity ‘Children in Need’.
A huge thank you for all of your kind contributions for our Harvest collection this year.
This year we will be supporting the Keyworth community Foodbank with our annual Harvest celebration.
All the children have spent the afternoon in school today remembering our late Queen Elizabeth II. The children have spent time learning about her long life and the impact she had on our country and the world. There has been a wide range of activities; from our Starlings in reception making jam sandwiches (her favourite afternoon tea!) to our Year 6’s looking at her role during World War II.
We marked the end of the day with a whole school assembly where we all said farewell and began to think about the new era under the reign of King Charles III.
Following guidance issued by the Department for Education, school will be closed on 19th September for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
In light of this, we have rescheduled school photographs for the 4th October.
What a great opportunity.
As we start a new school year, we invite parents and carers to join us for a welcome meeting.
Last day of term!
Due to the weather forecast of temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius at the start of next week, we wanted to let you know of our plans to ensure we keep the children, staff and anyone in school safe.
