Homework Blog WB 03.03.25

A few extra reminders for this week...
We are really looking forward to book week and have lots of lovely activities planned.
Some key details for you:
-
Monday - we have a storyteller in for assembly on Monday. Also, remember to sign up for parents' evening slots (one slot per child)!
-
Tuesday - book swaps with different classes in school
-
Wednesday 5th March - Bring in your favourite book to share with a friend.
-
Thursday 6th March - Dressing up for world book day and our walk to the library. Please ensure library cards are in school by Wednesday. Without library cards, children won't be able to take a book. It is also worth checking you don't have any overdue books on their account so they can have a smooth transaction when they are there. Thank you to those that have offered to help with the trip to the library, I will email you separately with timings.
-
Friday 7th March - Bring in a teddy to read to.
Our homework:
Spellings - week 2 (please use the sheet in your homework folder plus Spelling Shed): the split vowel digraphs a-e and e-e. Words: made, came, same, take, safe, date, lake, these, theme, complete.
Special homework can be found in your homework folder for this week.
Reading: Books will be swapped, as usual, on Monday and Thursday. Please send books you have read back in on those days as well (thanks!).
We had an amazing zoo come into school last week. The children loved exploring it and it generated a lot of discussion. We look forward to seeing the topic homework that you choose to do.
