Hello,

Well done Puffins! We remain the top doodling class with 69% of you on target this week! Great job!

I'm going to ask for homework folders to be sent in on Thursday and Friday this week. I will then have a look through them, and we will return them to you at parents' evening with their new half-term block of homework.

*Partake is this Wednesday morning - please ensure you have paid if you haven't already. You can login to arbor and find that payment there. I'll do a photo blog on Wednesday to show some of the lovely morning we have. We do not have photo consents for some children, so please update your information if you wish for them to be included in Crossdale blogs.

Our spellings this week relate to week 5 - /ch/, /tch/ chick, chip, catch, fetch, kitchen, notch, hutch, much rich, such. As usual, you will be able to find the related homework in your folders and on Spelling Shed games will be available from Monday.

Please use 'Special Homework Week 5' for your weekly practise of 'other skills'. Again, this can be found in the homework folder.

Please ensure you listen to your child read and practise their phonics at least 3 times a week. We swap books twice a week (Mondays and Thursday) but in between, we advise you to re-read the books that have come home. You will also have a swap book and a 'love of reading' book that your child has chosen in our weekly book club sessions.
