HOMEWORK OF THE WEEK (02.12.24)

Please find attached this week's spellings for next Monday's spelling test (09.12.24). For this week, your child has a word search (to be completed independently) and a Maths revision activity to refresh their understanding of lines of symmetry, which shouldn't take too long. 

Please have a look at your child's reading book for this week and encourage your child to keep revisiting it when they can. The children have been given a copy of this week's story book, a new phonics book, a new challenge tree book and book band book.  I have already set Doodlemaths tasks for this week and lastly, don't forget to keep on using Spelling Shed a few minutes at a time. Please do let me know if the spellings online are slightly different to the ones in your child's homework book. For some reason, even though I had pre-set them a while ago, they hadn't uploaded until Wednesday. Therefore, if this happens again, feel free to let me know. 

Thank you for supporting us for last week's class assembly. The children loved seeing their biggest supporters watching and listening to their learning. Looking forward to the next one after Beaumanor Hall.
