Homework WB 18.9.23
Hello,
Here is your weekly homework post with general messages and reminders for the week and about homework. It feels like this Monday has come around quickly!
*Your 'special homework' for this week is to practise number formation. We've noticed lots of reversed numbers. We do work on this every day in our maths book as well but thought we could really tackle it if you are aware of this focus as well.
*Please listen to your child read at least 3 x a week - books are swapped on Mondays and Thursdays.
*Try to stay in the green zone on doodle by completing your '5 a day' and your assignments. We are top doodlers again this week - super effort; keep it up!
*Login to Spelling Shed to play games linked to our spellings. New words should appear today.
Our new spelling words are: hunted, hunter, hunting, buzzing, buzzed, buzzer, jumping, jumper, jumped, cracker. These will be taught on Monday in school and returned to each day as part of our English teaching.
*Please ensure your forest schools kit including wellies are in school on Mondays and that PE kit is in school on Mondays and Fridays. Please feel free to leave kit in school now that we have our lovely, new cloakrooms where we have plenty of storage!
*Base meeting is Tuesday 19th at 5pm - we look forward to welcoming you then and answering any other questions you have.
*Please consent to and make payment for our trip to Tamworth Castle (11th Oct). There is a consent button for you to use to allow your child to attend this trip which is on School Money, too.
See you all in the morning and fingers crossed for a sunny day!
