Y3 Key Info & Documents
We made it! The last day of the summer term and now ready for a long holiday to unwind. Thank you to all of your ongoing support this academic year. The children have made so much progress thanks to your help with the weekly homework books, spelling practice, topic homework tasks and not to mention all of the volunteer days/mornings/afternoons parents have taken part in to allow learning to continue either out of school or during a busy time in the half-term. We could not have accomplished a big chunk of the children's curriculum without your continued support.
Thank you also very much for the generous gifts, cards, vouchers and money put towards to Year 2 team. We are all so grateful and have really enjoyed teaching and supporting each child in Penguins Class. We have made some wonderful memories which we shall treasure for always.
Please have a look at some of our photos this summer term to see what we've been up to:
We're almost there! Just two more weeks to go...
This week, your child can choose ten different words from this half-term's spelling lists - preferably words they find tricker to spell in order to consolidate practice. It is up to your child how they revise their selected words in their homework book (if space) or on a piece of paper that can be tucked into their book for me to see. I have attached some examples as to how your child could practice. There will be no test on the 15th of July. However, please still encourage practice so I can mark their revision the following Monday. Additionally, there is a Maths activity to consolidate their understanding of position and direction, which shouldn't take your child too long to finish and complete (the majority of it) independently. Please continue with reading at home as well as Doodlemaths for a few minutes at a time.
Have a great week!
