Welcome back to spring two and hopefully some warmer weather.
Below is a curriculum map of intended learning for this half-term. As always, please come and ask if you have any questions.

We’ve had an exciting and busy final week before the Half Term break.
We have celebrated Chinese New Year, got to know our lovely new chicks as well as doing some great Welly Wednesday measuring!
We also said a sad farewell to the lovely Miss Royal as we enjoyed her last delicious school dinner.
One final message! There will be a Reading at Crossdale meeting for all Reception parents and carers taking place on Tuesday 1st March at 5.30 pm in the school hall. This will be a chance to find out more about how your child is learning to read at Crossdale as well as having the chance to ask any questions you may have.
We have been engineers this week! We designed safe houses for the 3 pigs to live in and keep safe from the wolf!
We then tested them to see if they were strong enough!
Here are some pictures of what we did!
We have been learning about fire engines this week and all the important parts of them that fire officers use to help keep us safe.
We’ve had great fun this week by recycling the story of the Gingerbread Man! You might recognise a few familiar people taking on new characters in the story of The Cookie Boy.
We decorated our own Cookie Boys today but were careful to chomp them quick before they could hop away!!
We have made a great start to our People Who Help Us topic. Last week we found out lots about what doctors do with the help of Mr Jones.
This week we have been looking at what police officers do and have enjoyed looking closely at our own fingerprints.
Welcome back! The children settled back into school wonderfully today, and it was super to see so many smiley happy faces.
