  • Super Sports Day

    Mr Pharoaoh organised a super sports week this year when the children took part in sports day races and potted sports as well as cricket, gymnastics, drumba and basketball sessions.  Their learning behaviours were admirable (the outside providers commented on this) and we were very proud of them.

  • Visit to Sherwood Pines

    We had a wonderful trip to Sherwood Pines exploring the woodland habitat. We looked for woodland creatures, completed the ‘Superworm’ trail and created land art inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy.  A great time was had by all.

    Wow! What a busy term! We launched our new topic about habitats by creating a new area for our class guinea pigs Sharky, Pip and Pop!

  • Science week

    What a week of science! We’ve done a daily ‘awe and wonder’ science experiment to celebrate science week. For each experiment we made predictions, tested them out and discussed what had happened after.  There was so much scientific language being used - you’d be so proud parents. 

    On Friday we were visited by the British Geological Survey, who treated us to a talk about volcanoes, different types of rocks and fossils. They even let us do some fossil rubbings, and set us up with a rock growing experiment. We’ll keep you posted on that one.
