NRICH Live Maths Problem

Crossdale...It's time to get your thinking caps on and your maths brain in gear! 

Nrich are inviting students to send in solutions, and they will publish a selection of them, along with each student's name and their school, a few weeks later. We thought it would be a great idea if we could get a few Crossdalians published on their website! All you need to do is bring in your workings and solutions to the problem below and we will send this off to Nrich for publishing.
