A brilliant first week back and a fantastic Keys To Learning Day!

It has been a brilliant week in Year 5! The children have worked super hard and have all started to settle into life as Base Three pupils!

This week, we have launched our Coal Mining topic, started learning Spanish, and begun learning about the Pitmen Painters.

Today, we had a Keys To Learning Day which was focused on the Paralympics. We researched famous Paralympians and designed a mascot for the Paralympics. This morning, we played some Boccia games with Mr Pharoah and this afternoon we did some wheelchair basketball!
