A Busy Half Term!
Well, what a busy half term! The children have had some amazing experiences over the last few weeks and are definitely ready for the Easter break. There was lots of red and fun for red nose day. The children took part in cress growing and investigations for science week. The competition entries were incredible – we have some very creative children in Crossdale! We also had a visit from Ms Easton, who is a colour technician, to tell us all about colour mixing which was fascinating. She brought in lots of swatches and explained the importance of using the right mixing of colours. We also had our fabulous residential at Beaumanor Hall. The children were absolutely amazing! For some, it was their first time away from home but everyone was positive, supportive, and developed a little more independence. We are soooo proud of them all!
This term was completed with a treat afternoon of egg rolling, an egg hunt, Easter crafts and a little bit of chocolate!
Thank you for all your support too. It was lovely to see you over Teams for our parent’s evening. We have really appreciated all the kind words and thoughtful gifts we have received.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter holidays – and spoil yourselves with lots of chocolate eating too!
Enjoy the pictures I have attached. See you in a couple of weeks.
