We went on a trip to Sainsbury's. We walked to the shop where we were met by Sue the Manager. She very kindly gave us a tour around the shop and told us lots of things about how the shop works from how the deliveries are made to how the in-store bakery works. After that we got on with our shopping and attempted our 'Big Question' challenge, Can you buy a rainbow? Well it turns out you can! Watch this space......

Look what we've been up to.
We have been learning about Autumn by exploring leaves and shadows on Well Wednesday. The children collected their leaves and did some amazing leaf prints with Miss Seedhouse.
We also took part in the whole school Harvest Festival assembly. Make sure you pop in to see our amazing fruit paintings in the home corner.
We have had another very busy week. The children are continuing to settle very well into new routines and are learning lots of new skills.
Big Ted went missing during the week and the children came up with lots of imaginative ideas to find him including leaving a trail of footprints, making maps and making posters. All is well and it turns out he was having a sleep in the shed.
We learnt lots about keeping clean and healthy with a visit from one of our favourite Crossdale nurses, Mrs Atkinson.
Have a fabulous weekend.
