Welcome back to all the children, parents and cares in Reception. We have an action packed half term ahead. Here are a few key messages.
This week the children were inspired to write and make their own magic potions.

On Wednesday the children used lots of fixing and fastening skills to turn their designs into fantastic robots. They used many of our keys to learning by being creative thinkers, self managers and team workers.
As part of our topic this half term we are finding out about all sorts of technology. Next week we plan to set up a workshop in the classroom where the children can explore/tinker with old phones, radios, chargers, etc to stimulate discussions about how they work. If you have any old technology that you would like to donate to us we would be very grateful.
On Wednesday we have planned a DT afternoon where we will be using junk materials to make our own class robot. Again, if you have any suitable materials you ready to recycle please send it into school.
Many thanks
Mrs Ingle and Mrs Mellor
