Christmas Activities

Please find below the details of some homework activities that I have set the children for during the school holidays to help keep those brains ticking over. The children should bring in their completed writing task and maths booklet by Friday 10th December so that I can praise them on their hard work and reward them with some stamps! The jobs that I set the children include:

1. A maths practice booklet which covers some of the topics that we have studied this half term. It will serve as a good opportunity for your child to develop and revise their maths skills. I gave out different maths booklets, so if your child's maths booklet did not make it home then please get in touch with the office.

2. A writing task based on a picture stimulus - I have attached a copy of this here.

I have given the children a break from their reading journals over the holiday and we will resume with those the first week back. I also sent the spelling booklet home for next half term, and have attached that here too.
