Regular reading: No reading journal this week, but please continue to read regularly please.

TTRS: please head on at least 3 times a week.

Doodlemaths: Complete any outstanding assignments and two new assignments "Add three digit numbers using column addition" and "Subtract numbers with three digits using column subtraction (with exchanging)"

Topic: Our focus next term is the geography topic "Mountains and Rivers". To prepare us for this topic, have a go at creating a factfile about a famous mountain or river from around the world! I would love to hear what has taken your interest!

BONUS: Our topic will also focus on South America as a continent, so I thought it would be fun to share family fact of mine. My mother's family come from a place in Peru called "Untuco", and my dad's family come from a place called "Chavin de Huantar". Why not head on to Google Earth and have a look at these areas!  Search for "Untuco, Peru" and "Chavin de Huantar, Peru". Let me know what you see. Are they big towns? Are they in the jungle, coast or mountains? What do they look like?
