First Day Back

We've had a fantastic day today - the children have been wonderful and made a good start to the new term in Year One. We've done some holiday writing, played games and enjoyed being with our friends, done some artwork based on the story of Nigel's Numberless World. This afternoon we have created our own self-portrait, thinking about detail and proportion and we've shared our holiday books. Thanks for all your hard work and support with these - they have been a lovely talking point today and I've been so impressed with what they all look like. The children were so proud of them, too.

I'm looking forward to another great day with the Starlings tomorrow before Mrs McGinley takes over at the end of the week.
