Thank you, Goodbye and See you soon!
My little apples,
Crikey me, what a year it has been! I can’t believe the time has come to say goodbye and wish you well for Year Four! From the very first day of year three, you blew me away with your kindness, enthusiasm and complete support of each other. Apple class is truly a special class and I am so lucky that I had the opportunity to call myself your teacher. Whether we were baking bread for our Scrumdiddlyumptious topic or learning about Ancient Greek artefacts, you never failed to make each and everyday fun and exciting, while full of willingness to listen and learn.
When the entire country went into lockdown, you blew me away further than I’ve ever been blown away before! You continued to work hard and make everyone around you prouder than I think you’ll probably ever realise. It was such a privilege to receive all of your work, letters and videos throughout this time and they never failed to brighten my day and put a smile on my face. I know your grown ups have had lots to juggle throughout this time so we all need to make sure we say a huge thank you to them for all of the support they have given too!
I can’t say that it hasn’t made me super-duper sad not to be able to finish the year with you but I am looking forward to seeing you all again in September so I can hear all about what you have been doing – even if it will be from the classroom next door! One of the best things about being part of the Crossdale family is that whether we are separated by a classroom, doorway, window or lockdown, I know that we will continue to share special and unforgettable memories as you go through the school.
Thank you for being utterly one (or twenty-eight by the end) in a million this year, apples. Have an amazing summer, keep smiling and being the absolutely fantastically wonderful little human beings that you are!
Love
Miss J x
