2023/2024 Overview
Our fundraising for the 2023-24 school year was incredible! Alongside our annual commitment of £6000 which covers English and Math resources, we combined these funds to support the new Challenge Tree Library, spending £900 on new books and an additional £400 later on.
We also funded Year 4's weekly music lessons, SATs rewards for Year 6 - Sweets and pop bundles, and donut treats for Year 2 after their's. Year 6 enjoyed a send-off bash, complete with a chip shop meal after their traditional water fight with the teachers, and we even supported their business enterprise venture so they could run their own tall at football and Fun.
We also provided the new Robin class with a book bag each, 50th-anniversary medals for all after the Fun Run, and a makeover for the Base 2 cloakroom. Our busy year culminated in an amazing end-of-year fun day on the field, featuring a professional face painter, hairdressers for colourful hair extensions, a craft stall, glitter tattoos, Hawaiian necklaces (thank you, Emma for all your hard work making the hundreds of flowers!), and Zorb balls thanks to Mr Pharaoh for the older children — an absolute hit!
Peter Presto entertained with his comedy magic show, and we offered relaxing Sound Bath sessions in the afternoon. Every child painted a stone for the kindness bench in the "calm" playground, thanks to Mrs. Westie. The day wrapped up with ice creams for all and a special performance of Sing by Gary Barlow, creating a truly memorable end to the school year. It was such a success that Miss Seedhouse has already scheduled another end-of-year treat day!
Let’s make this year even more magical!
